When is the Alf Shrubb Memorial 10k Race happening?

The 2025 adult 10k race is on September 14th around 11.15am (tbc) with the 5k event starting separately. The kids fun runs will begin earlier from 10am at Slinfold Cricket Club.

Is parking available?

Yes, we will have free parking and will provide details via our Facebook page a few weeks before the event is due to take place.

Are toilets available?

Yes, we will have ladies only toilets at the Slinfold Cricket Pavilion and Port-a-loos for shared use.

What is the main race route like?

The race route is mainly on trails with some areas of tarmac. It is best described as a mixed trail race.

Do children have to be accompanied?

Yes, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and cannot be left unaccompanied.

Are dogs allowed on the race route?

No, the route is narrow in places and it would not be safe to have dogs mixing with runners.

Can buggies be used on the adult race?

No buggies are allowed due to the varied nature and route of the course.
